NaPoWriMo #23: final stretch

Not exactly a seventh inning stretch, but I'm just slightly more than seven-tenths done with NaPoWriMo now, so close enough, eh?


Clumsy

The knife’s bite as I
slice onions spills more blood but
hurts less than your words.
